Hey Holt Public! John and I enjoyed our conversation with Mr. Wayne Quick from the Holt Food Bank and the Kiwanis Club of Holt. Wayne described the impact the Holt Food Bank has on our community as well as what the Kiwanis Children's Fund does for the children in three of our schools. In addition to hearing more about the Holt Food Bank and the Kiwanis Children's Fund, John and I discussed several important dates related to the District and the Township.

Hey Holt Public! John and I enjoyed our conversation today with Delhi Parks and Rec Director, Mr. Mark Jenks! Mark discussed the trail system, area parks, and the newest addition to the Park system, Esker Landing. Esker Landing is a canoe, kayak, and fishing dock with parking and a full service bathroom just east of the roundabout! In addition, Mark discussed the relationship that Delhi Township has with the District. Finally, John and I discussed a few important dates related to the Township and District!

Hey Holt Public! We enjoyed our conversation with our Special Guest, John Bush from the Hero Run today! The 8th annual 9-11 Hero Run will take place at 6:30pm at the Fire Station on September 11th. Hey Holt Public! I enjoyed my conversation today with Holt School Board Trustee and Scouting BSA Advocate, Mrs. Julie Bureau! Julie shared a great deal about the scouting world and promoted an information night, which will be held on September 9 at Washington Woods. The MSU Science Theater will also be performing during event on September 9! In addition, I also shared some information about the District!

In addition to ice cream, there will be live music at the Sam Corey Senior Center starting at noon! In addition to learning more about the activities at the Senior Center, John and I discussed several other items related to the Township and District respectively. Tonight is National Night Out! Join the Ingham County Sheriff's Office and Delhi Fire for a special night out tonight! National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Lt. Jungel of the Ingham County Sheriff's Office joined us today as we discussed several current events occurring in our communities. In addition, John referenced Holt Fest on August 17th and I shared some additional dates and highlights related to the District.
