Karon discussed several programs and also shared that the library is closed on Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving. Hey Holt Public! John and I enjoyed our conversation today with Sandy Wriggelsworth from the Give-a-Kid Projects. Sandy discussed the four programs that Give-a-Kid offers, the Governor's Award they recently earned, and Give-a-Kid a Christmas. To register for Christmas Outreach, please visit the Give-a-Kid office on Mondays and Thursdays. The distribution will be held on December 19, 2019 at the United Methodist Church in Holt. Help is needed at the United Methodist Church to unpack the semi-truck on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 6:30pm. As a reminder, tomorrow is a full day of instruction and the Balanced Calendar schools are off next week due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. The rest of the District is in session on Monday and Tuesday.

Hey Holt Public! John and I enjoyed our conversation with Sandy Wriggelsworth! Sandy serves as a Board member for the Give-a-Kid Charities. The Give-a-Kid Charities just finished distributing over 500 coats and they are preparing to support over 800 children during Give-a-Kid a Christmas. This group truly deserves a wow, wow, super, wow! In addition to learning more about Give-a-Kid, John and I also discussed some Township and District news.

Today, John and I hosted Holt Lion member, Jim Oudsema for our 155th consecutive Talk with us Tuesday Podcast! Jim was promoting an event called Halloween in the Park! Halloween in the Park will be held on Sunday, October 27 from 2pm-4pm at Veterans Memorial Park! In addition to hearing about Halloween in the Park, John and I discussed several important dates related to the Township and the District. The Band light show is Friday night during halftime of the football game and we are hoping to stuff the bus with non-perishable food items prior to the football game!
